Planning for Certification

Institutions with Candidate Certification are candidates for CPCACC Institutional Certification

They are required to complete a two part self-study, followed by a site visit.

  1. Administrative Function
  2. Academic Programs

Institutional Certification institutions may take up to three years to complete the self-study.

Institutional Certification institutions are assigned a Staff Mentor to advise them with the planning process and the submission of the Self-Study.

CPCACC Certification Peer Consultants are available to assist the Institutions with the preparation of the Self-Study.
